RESEARCH COLLABORATIONS

Our collaborations with renowned scientific research institutions have granted the Company access to leading technologies and expertise, keeping Senetek at the forefront of advancements in the science of aging.  Through our partnerships with the Institute of Experimental Botany, the Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry, the University of Aarhus, Denmark and PROTEOMAGE we have greatly expanded our IP portfolio, adding many vital technologies while accelerating product development.

As compounds successfully pass biological activity testing and initial safety testing, Senetek collaborates with the Department of Dermatology of the University of California at Irvine as well as other internationally recognized independent laboratories for comprehensive consulting and pre-clinical and clinical testing services. The UCI Department’s faculty is internationally recognized for its contributions in both basic and clinical dermapharmacology. The initial clinical trials of our successful lead product Kinetin were conducted at UCI using the same protocols as required by the FDA for gaining drug approval. 

For product development in other therapeutic categories Senetek collaborates with specialty pharmaceutical companies, leveraging external resources from our partnerhips for final clinical development and approvals.
